Arts Awards

UK Sound TV have been delivering digital video production, web and blogging programmes where trainees gain hands on experience in camera, sound and editing, working with media professionals. Trainees have worked towards a bronze (level 1)or silver (level 2) arts award. The arts awards are a nationally recognised accreditation for participants interested in furthering their knowledge and experience in the arts and arts leadership.

UK Sound TV Bronze Arts Awards digital video production and blogging programme are offering a digital video production programme with blogging. Trainees gain hands on experience in camera, sound, editing and creating their own blogs, and an insight into the arts and media industry,

UK Sound TV Silver Arts Awards video production programme Offering opportunities for young people who have an interest in moving image to gain an accredited Silver Arts Award, while developing their skills in the world of media and moving image.

Participants will be supported by professionals to produce their own original film/documentary production and will gain hands on experience working as part of a team replicating how the media industries operate.
There will also be the opportunity of the participants gaining unrivalled experience by shadowing a professional in their chosen role, i.e. Director, Cameraman, editor, lighting, or sound, etc, and finding out about career pathways.

The arts awards are a nationally recognised accreditation for participants interested in furthering their knowledge and experience in the arts.

This programme is funded by the London Development Agency and the European Social Fund, through the Compass Campus programme.
